F1 Teams With the Most 1-2 Race Finishes
Ferrari leads all F1 constructors with 86 1-2 race finishes between 1954 and 2024.
Locking out the top two positions in a Grand Prix is the most concentrated form of constructor dominance available to a Formula 1 team. It requires both drivers to be fast that weekend, both cars to finish, and the rest of the field to be far enough behind that no one breaks the package. This list ranks the F1 constructors with the most career 1-2 race finishes.
Eligibility is straightforward: any race where the same constructor took P1 and P2 counts as a 1-2 for that team. The leaderboard rewards both peak car performance and operational consistency over time. Teams that briefly built the fastest car can score a few; teams that build it across multiple eras score dozens.

1-2 finishes are partly a measure of a car's outright pace and partly of a team's operational depth โ both drivers fast enough to take the front row often, both pit crews working together cleanly, and the team avoiding self-inflicted wounds (collisions, strategy splits, mechanical sympathy issues). The teams at the top of this list have all built sustained periods where the most likely outcome of a Grand Prix was their two cars at the front.
