About F1 Archive

Formula 1 Archive is the most comprehensive free historical database for Formula 1 racing, covering every Grand Prix, driver, constructor, and circuit from the inaugural 1950 season to the present day.

Our Mission

We believe Formula 1 history should be accessible to everyone. Our goal is to provide accurate, well-organized statistical data that helps fans, journalists, researchers, and analysts explore 75+ years of the world's premier motorsport championship.

Data Sources & Methodology

All race results, qualifying data, driver information, and championship standings are sourced from the Ergast Motor Racing Database (via the Jolpica API), one of the most established and widely-used open F1 data sources. We cross-reference this with official FIA records where possible.

Our database includes 12 tables covering drivers, constructors, circuits, races, results, qualifying, lap times, pit stops, driver standings, constructor standings, weather data, and safety car deployments. Data is updated regularly throughout the racing season via an automated ingestion pipeline.

What We Cover
